Volunteer Recruitment Day a success

The Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway held a successful volunteer recruitment day at Cynheidre on Saturday 28th October 2017. Visitors were given a chance to talk to existing volunteers over a hot drink and were then given a guided tour around the site, before being given to opportunity to sign up as new members of the project. The day was arranged to give potential new volunteers an opportunity to see what a typical volunteering day at the site entails and those that came to have a look were pleased with what they saw.

Project Director Des Thomas said ‘’We were very pleased with the interest shown throughout the course of the day and would like to thank those that took the time to attend today.
